A full house and a day full of action: a large company event at Alma Park
What a day: 1,300 people, glorious sunshine, cold drinks, good food and a great atmosphere from the start. This company event at Alma Park went well beyond the usual buffet and seating plan. It was a day to remember.
Alma Park was at its best: lively, varied and relaxed, with so much energy that it hardly felt like a working day. People ate, played, laughed and celebrated together in a warm, informal atmosphere.
Starting outside: food, drinks and a relaxed welcome
The day began outside in the car park, where the event's food truck served freshly prepared currywurst and classic chips. Just the thing for hungry guests arriving ready to join in.
Next to it, the Alma Park stand offered more snacks and cold drinks, including soft drinks, water, beer, sparkling wine and wine. Straightforward street food and refreshing drinks went down a treat: practical, uncomplicated and, above all, tasty.
The atmosphere was relaxed from the outset. Guests arrived, picked up something to eat or drink and soon gathered in small groups. Familiar colleagues, new faces and good conversations: the day was off to a great start.
Mini pizzas and plenty of action inside
Inside Alma Park, another food stop served freshly baked mini pizzas: hot, easy to eat and ideal between activities. Guests could grab a bite without a long wait and get ready for their next highlight.
There were plenty to choose from. The trampoline park was constantly busy, bubble football brought laughter and friendly bumps, and laser tag sessions ran throughout the day. UV mini golf provided its share of surprises too, both in the glowing surroundings and the competitive streaks that began to emerge.
In the virtual reality area, many guests entered a new world for the first time and were immediately fascinated. Whether they wanted a game, an experience or a challenge, people made the most of what was on offer.
The lovely thing was that there was no pressure. Anyone who wanted to join in could do so, while those who preferred to relax found a seat outside in the beer garden.
A beer garden at its best
The beer garden was the heart of the event. Large wooden tables sat beneath parasols, surrounded by conversation, glasses and laughter. With a cold beer or a refreshing soft drink, guests settled in to chat and take a breather.
There was no dress code or formal business talk, just people enjoying one another's company. Colleagues who usually only crossed paths in the corridor or on video calls found themselves sharing a table, playing together or chatting over a snack. It was a chance for the team to connect.
As evening fell, a walkway became a dance floor
A space intended as a route through the park became a dance floor that evening. All it took was an open area, good music and guests ready to dance.
The DJ judged the mood perfectly, starting with a relaxed afternoon soundtrack and gradually building the energy. People loved it. Guests danced, laughed and sang along in the middle of the venue. The impromptu dance floor may not have been planned, but it made the evening.
It was the moment you could tell that everyone was there because they wanted to be. The atmosphere spoke for itself.
Action, snacks and a beer: bringing the team together
The mix of activities made the day special. It was a chance to share experiences at your own pace: be active, relax, chat, laugh and discover another side to your colleagues.
Some groups got so involved in laser tag that spontaneous competitions broke out. Others preferred to sit together over a snack or enjoy the sunshine in the beer garden. Everyone could spend the day their own way, and that was a big part of its appeal.
A day that brought people together
This was a thoroughly enjoyable company event: 1,300 people celebrating, eating, playing and dancing together in a venue made for shared experiences. Once again, Alma Park showed how much good planning, tasty food, a relaxed atmosphere and a great choice of activities can contribute.
It was a company event with warmth and personality, and one that guests are sure to be talking about for a long time.
