What puzzles and challenges will we find in the escape room?
Escape rooms use many different kinds of puzzles. Number puzzles are among the most common: you use the numbers provided, sometimes with calculations or other clues, to find a lock combination. Logic puzzles also feature in almost every escape room, often alongside numbers or other clues. You might need to connect pictures, symbols or letters logically to reveal a code. Newer escape rooms increasingly use mechanical and technical puzzles involving sound, lighting, screens, electricity and more, adding a new dimension to the game.
How long does an escape room game last?
In our classic escape rooms, you have up to 60 minutes to solve the puzzles together and complete your mission. Before playing, you'll receive an introduction to the game and its key rules. If you don't finish in time, that's no problem: you'll be let out when the session ends and can ask about any unsolved puzzles afterwards.
Sir Peter Morgan’s Escape Adventure works differently. You'll work your way through 5 different rooms, with 7 minutes in each to solve as many puzzles and collect as many points as possible. Then it's straight on to the next challenge.
Do players need to crouch, crawl or climb?
The physical requirements vary between our escape rooms.
“Suche des Heiligen Grals” and “Nightmare Hotel” do not require crawling or climbing.
In “Das Geheimnis der 666 Passagiere”, players need to crouch quite low at one point. If anyone is uncomfortable doing so, the game master can offer an alternative route.
“Der Erbe Draculas” involves some climbing. The game master can guide players around these sections if needed. There is also a section where you need to solve puzzles while crouching for a longer period. You can sit down for a break if necessary.
Can I play an escape room more than once?
You can play our classic escape rooms more than once, but the puzzles and sequence remain the same. We therefore recommend trying one of our other rooms afterwards.
Sir Peter Morgan’s Escape Adventure is different: its many puzzles and variations are designed for repeat visits. Play again to discover new challenges and try to beat your previous high score.
What is the minimum age for escape rooms?
Children under 14 should always play with an adult. Depending on the room and how easily a child is frightened, some experiences are better suited to ages 16 and over. We also have a children's escape room where younger adventurers can take on a mission for Sir Peter Morgan.
Who invented escape rooms?
Japanese game designer Toshimitsu Takagi originally created escape rooms as online games, which inspired commercial real-life escape rooms. In Germany, performance group machina eX later adapted the idea as an artistic experiment on stage. HintQuest in Munich introduced it as a leisure activity in 2013. Alma Park has offered escape rooms since 2015.
Are escape rooms dangerous?
There are no actors in the room who will jump out at you or touch you. You can leave at any time through the emergency exits. Your game master monitors the game and can step in whenever needed.
How much does an escape room game cost?
Prices depend on the number of people in the room, starting at €29.50 per person for a group of 6.

Escape Rooms
Since the film of the same name appeared, more people have become curious about escape rooms as a different kind of leisure activity.
They offer an alternative to cinemas, theme parks and other days out with friends, family or children, and can also be used for company team-building events.
So how do escape rooms work, and what do you do inside? An escape room consists of one or more rooms filled with puzzles. Your team must work together to solve them as quickly as possible. There are almost no limits to the themes: from horror and historical adventures to rooms for children, there's something for everyone. Escape games can be outdoors, indoors or even temporary pop-up experiences.
