At Germany's largest indoor leisure park, adults can let their inner child out. Alma Park in Gelsenkirchen brings together paintball, laser tag, Bubbleball and escape rooms across around 10,000 m², all under one roof. This playground for grown-ups makes a memorable alternative to a conventional party, whether you're celebrating a birthday or a stag or hen do.
With the activities indoors, the season doesn't have to dictate your plans. Candid photos of friends rolling around in Bubble Soccer or enjoying the trampolines can capture the day. Turn the funny pictures you take together into a photo book and you've got a personal Christmas or birthday present, as well as a way to relive those moments.

Alma Park also hosts Christmas parties and company events. For a longer visit, the flat-rate offer described here lets you spend up to seven hours playing laser tag, paintball, Bubble Soccer, adventure golf, trampoline and Arrowtag. Tailored school events are available too.
Between activities, head to the bar for a refreshing drink and a break. Photos of everyone relaxing together can be just as good a reminder of the day as pictures taken around the attractions.
Find your way out: live escape games
For less physical action and more observation, detective work and atmosphere, try an escape room. You'll need to think logically and creatively to solve the puzzles and find a way out of the story. Themes such as Der Heilige Gral, The Saw Massacre and Das Geheimnis der 666 Passagiere offer different reasons to return.
Staff monitoring and emergency exits are part of the arrangements, but they do not remove every risk. Follow the briefing and ask how to leave the game if you need to. To preserve the atmosphere and avoid spoiling the escape room, photos during the puzzles aren't ideal. Ask the team where you can take a suitable group photo instead.
Group photos welcome
Group photos at Alma Park could also win a gift voucher in the competition described here. Groups that booked together and then posted a suitable photo on Facebook were eligible to take part.
Think about when and where to take pictures. Not every activity allows photography while you're playing. Paintball can be messy and physical, so valuables should stay off the field. Photos outside the playing areas are usually easier to arrange. The team can help with a group shot that includes everyone and makes use of suitable props.
