Can we use our RUHR.TOPCARD at Alma Park?
Your RUHR.TOPCARD gives you 50% off the Action Pass Special at Alma Park. Each person booked on this package must present their own valid RUHR.TOPCARD when visiting. If a valid card cannot be shown, the regular full price will be charged automatically.
How do I book with a RUHR.TOPCARD?

How do I book with a RUHR.TOPCARD?
Simply book online using the relevant code, then show your valid RUHR.TOPCARD at reception on the day of your visit. Each Action Pass Special booking requires a separate valid card. If you cannot show one, the regular full price will be charged.

Can I bring a cake, muffins or sweets to a children's birthday party I have booked?
If you have booked a birthday package that includes food, you may put a cake, muffins or sweets on the dining table provided for your party. Food is not allowed in the activity hall.
Can I bring my own drinks?
You may drink in the areas where you are taking part in physical activities, but please do not drink while wearing a laser tag vest. Drinks brought from outside are not allowed in our catering area.
Can I bring my own food?
No, bringing your own food is not permitted. The only exception is cake, muffins or sweets for a children's birthday party booked with food from us.
How long is our table reserved with a birthday package?
You have 45 minutes to eat and spend time together at the table.
Do accompanying adults have to pay?
If you are accompanying someone and do not take part in any activities, you do not need to pay. However, with our Action Pass packages, accompanying non-participants cannot enter the activity hall. You can wait in the catering area.
Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?
You are welcome to drop in at Alma Park. Booking or calling ahead is not compulsory, but we recommend it if you want to be sure of a place, especially on busy days or at popular times.
Why can I not make a booking?
The activity may be fully booked, or an Action Pass or unlimited-play session may be running at your chosen time. You can find an overview of our offers here.
Is there an Alma Park in any other cities?
Alma Park has one location: Almastraße 39, 45886 Gelsenkirchen. Its central position in the Ruhr region makes it easy to reach from nearby cities such as Essen, Bochum, Dortmund, Duisburg, Oberhausen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Bottrop, Herne and Hamm.
Are showers available?
Yes. We have separate communal shower facilities for women and men.
Can I change or cancel my booking at short notice if someone is ill?
We understand that illness and other emergencies can lead to last-minute changes. However, our usual cancellation terms still apply.
What is the cancellation deadline?
You can cancel free of charge up to three days (72 hours) before your booking. If you cancel later, we charge the full booking price.
What if I cancel within 2 days of the booking?
The full booking price will be charged.
What if one person can no longer come?
The standard cancellation policy also applies to a reduction in group size.
Can I change the number of people after booking?
Yes, subject to availability. If you reduce the number of participants, our cancellation deadlines also apply to those individual places.
What shoes should I wear?
Ordinary shoes are generally fine. For indoor football, we recommend trainers with small rubber studs suitable for artificial turf.
Do I need special socks for the trampoline jumping area?
Yes. For insurance and safety reasons, only Alma Park non-slip socks purchased at Alma Park may be worn. Socks from other trampoline venues and other socks you bring from home are not permitted.
Can I use my own trampoline socks at Alma Park?
Only Alma Park trampoline socks are allowed. Socks from other providers, such as SuperFly, Tigerjump or Airhop, may not be used.
Will we have the playing area exclusively for our group?
You normally share the playing area with other players and groups, unless, for example, you have booked all the available laser tag or paintball equipment. The trampoline park can also be hired exclusively for around 25 people. To ask about exclusive hire of other courts or activity areas, call +49 209 95709400 or email info@alma-park.de.
Can I use the Kumpel Bot chat to make, change or cancel a booking?
No. The Kumpel Bot cannot make, change or cancel bookings, even if a friendly response from the bot suggests otherwise. Please contact Alma Park directly on +49 209 95709400 or email info@alma-park.de so our team can help you.
How can I book, and is my booking binding?
Use our online booking system to make a binding booking. You can also book by emailing info@alma-park.de or calling +49 209 95709400. Please note that bookings are binding and our cancellation terms apply. You cannot book or reserve through our chatbot. Non-binding reservations are not available.
Can the chatbot customise or change an offer?
Our friendly Kumpel Bot cannot create or change individual offers. To make a binding booking, we recommend using our online booking system. Alternatively, email info@alma-park.de or call +49 209 95709400 to discuss your requirements. Our team can help arrange a suitable offer or make changes.
Can the chatbot pass information on to the team?
No. The Kumpel Bot cannot forward information to the Alma Park office.
How can I redeem a Groupon, mydays or Jochen Schweizer voucher?
We no longer accept vouchers from Groupon, mydays or Jochen Schweizer. You can find our best offers directly with us.
How can I redeem an Alma Park voucher?
You can redeem an Alma Park voucher when booking online, by phone or by email.
Which payment methods can I use when booking Alma Park online?
Several payment options are available when booking online: credit card, PayPal, Sofort bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay or giropay.
Can I pay by card at Alma Park?
On site, we accept cash, girocard and EC debit cards, Visa, Eurocard and Mastercard, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay when linked to an accepted card. We do not accept American Express.
How early should we arrive before our booking?
We recommend arriving half an hour before your booked start time.
Are there any free activities at Alma Park?
We do not offer free activities. Our wide range of paid experiences is designed to give you a fun and memorable visit.
Do you have offers for youth and community organisations?
Yes. Alma Park has special offers for community and social organisations. Please email info@alma-park.de or call +49 209 95709400 to discuss your visit.
How old do you have to be to visit Alma Park?
All ages are welcome at Alma Park. Children aged seven and under can explore the attractions with an accompanying adult. We do not have dedicated toddler activities, but accompanied children under seven can enjoy minigolf and trampolining. Laser tag has no minimum age, but players must be at least 1.30 m tall. Bring the family and find the activities that suit you!
Can we hold our Christmas party at Alma Park?
Absolutely! We can organise a Christmas party for anything from a small group of 10 to a large celebration with up to 500 guests. Do you offer discounts for disabled visitors with a German disability card marked “B”?
Yes. We offer individual arrangements and discounts for disabled visitors. The suitability of our attractions varies, so we aim to find a fair and appropriate solution for each guest. For details or specific requirements, call Alma Park on +49 209 95709400 or email info@alma-park.de.
How can I buy an Alma Park gift voucher, and what formats are available?
Give someone an action-packed visit to Europe's largest indoor amusement park. Choose a convenient print-at-home voucher with a personal message, or order a gift voucher as a physical gift card with a presentation sleeve. Both make a great surprise.
Is parking available at Alma Park, and how much does it cost?
Parking is available directly outside the Alma Park hall for a flat rate of €1.50 per day.
Can I lock my belongings away?
Yes. Lockers are available for a one-off fee of €2.
What are Alma Park's special opening hours over the Christmas holidays and public holidays?
- Weekdays: 10 am–10 pm
- Action Pass: two daily sessions, 10 am–2 pm and 2 pm–6 pm
Holiday Specials:
- Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve: 10 am–4 pm
- Christmas Day and Boxing Day: 10 am–10 pm
- Christmas school holidays: Monday to Friday, 10 am–10 pm
- New Year's Day: 2 pm–10 pm
- We are open 365 days a year!
Do you have a bowling alley?
No, there is no bowling alley at Alma Park.
Does Alma Park have outdoor playgrounds or a petting zoo?
No. Alma Park is an indoor amusement park. We do not currently have an indoor soft-play area or slides for small children, and we do not have a petting zoo.
Are there badminton courts at Alma Park?
No, we do not have badminton courts.
What is the age limit for your children's birthday packages?
Our children's birthday parties and birthday packages are designed for children and teenagers up to the age of 18.
Can I buy alcoholic drinks at Alma Park?
Yes. You can enjoy a beer or a mixed drink in our sports bar. However, paintball has a strict zero-alcohol rule, so save any alcoholic drinks until after you have finished playing.
Do I need written consent from the parents of the children I bring?
Alma Park does not require a consent form from the other parents. However, you are responsible for making sure every parent has agreed to their child coming with you.
